Abstract:
One of the few generally accepted goals in Bosnia and Herzegovina is memberships in the European Union. Also, the institutions of the European Union are the biggest lobbyist and promoters of corporate social responsibility. To determine the level of understanding of the concept of corporate social responsibility it has been conducted research using a questionnaire with 3 questions on a sample group of companies that operate in the Una-Sana Canton. The results showed the necessity of education and lack of information about corporate social responsibility. Specifically, companies that operate in the area USC are still dont have clear idea of what general means of socially responsible business. Also, research has shown the need for incorporating CSR activities in the long term goals and strategies of the company, because in this way ensures that the most expensive, most wanted and what the company represents the highest value, and this is the loop the following categories: happy employees, loyal customer and benevolent society.
